Introduction

4.16 Institute Of Democratic Citizenship Education runs educational programs for students, faculty, parents, and citizens in Gyeonggi-do. Those programs aim to enable participants to reflect on meaning of 4.16 Sewol ferry disaster through remembrance and empathy for sufferings of the disaster and develop critical thinking so that they can cultivate the capability to unite and practice together as democratic citizens.
